Journey to Belize:
When dreaming of the perfect vacation, Belize instantly sparked a deep sense of curiosity and adventure that couldn’t be ignored. From its crystal-clear beaches and vibrant local markets to lush wildlife and unforgettable excursions, Belize was overflowing with beauty and culture to draw from. Traveling there in 2024 sparked a new wave of creativity—not just for me personally, but for our entire brand. This journey inspired us to blend the natural elegance and bold spirit of Belize into our upcoming swimwear collection, creating pieces that feel like an escape in themselves.
The Cultural Inspiration
Belize’s rich cultural landscape was a well of inspiration for this collection. The deep blues and teals of the Caribbean Sea, the fiery oranges of the sunsets, and the vibrant colors found in local textiles and reef life shaped our entire color palette. We found ourselves especially drawn to the artistic influence of Garifuna and Mayan cultures—the intricate patterns, bold symbols, and rhythmic flow of their traditions sparked ideas for prints and textures that now live in our designs.
Empowerment + Beauty in Belize
This collection is a tribute to island confidence. It’s made for the woman who owns her presence, who doesn’t need to be loud to be seen. The laid-back, sun-soaked lifestyle of the islands encouraged us to design with intention—focusing on flattering fits, bold cuts, and silhouettes that celebrate the feminine form without apology.
